About the role
The Strategic Initiatives Manager at will play a key role in supporting Unlock's strategic planning and execution. This role will assist in identifying and implementing innovative approaches to achieve our strategic goals while gaining a deep understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive strategic reviews of existing and potential consumer finance products, identifying new strategies that complement our Home Equity Agreement offering.
- Develop in-depth expertise in home equity investment (HEI) and home equity agreement (HEA) products across the market to inform strategic decisions.
- Support go-to-market activities, ensuring successful onboarding of joint ventures and partnerships that align with our strategic objectives.
- Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
What we're looking for
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business development, operations, banking, or related fields. or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven ability to successfully bring new business concepts to market and drive strategic initiatives.
- Experience in a highly regulated financial services environment, such as consumer lending, mortgage, or residential real estate.
- Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to communicate complex insights clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in organizing, manipulating, and presenting data in a meaningful way.

Target base compensation is $120,000- $150,000 annually. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
