About the role
The Senior Affiliate Manager leads and manages the affiliate marketing program within the home equity space. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with affiliates, driving revenue growth, optimizing affiliate campaigns, and ensuring industry compliance. The role is integral to expanding the affiliate network and maximizing return on investment while promoting home equity solutions to a wide audience.
What you'll do
- Oversee the affiliate marketing program specifically for home equity products, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing management of affiliate partnerships.
- Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with high-quality affiliates in the home equity, financial services, and related sectors. Foster long-term relationships to drive mutual growth.
- Develop and implement effective affiliate marketing strategies tailored to the home equity space to increase conversions, drive high-quality traffic, and meet revenue goals.
- Regularly monitor affiliate performance using KPIs such as conversions, cost-per-lead (CPL), cost-per-acquisition (CPA), and overall revenue. Utilize A/B testing and optimization strategies to improve campaign performance. Monitor and update partner copy to ensure it meets requirements.
- Ensure all affiliates comply with industry regulations, including financial compliance standards and company policies. Work to mitigate risks associated with the promotion of home equity products.
- Work closely with product, compliance, legal, and sales teams to ensure alignment between affiliate marketing initiatives and business goals.
- Manage affiliate program budgets, track spend, and optimize allocations to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing technologies within the home equity and broader financial services industry. Adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide affiliates with educational resources, updates on new product offerings, and best practices to enhance affiliate performance.
- Create detailed reports on affiliate program performance and provide insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in affiliate marketing, with a focus on the financial services or home equity industry, including 4+ years in a senior-level role.
- Proven success in managing affiliate marketing programs within the home equity, lending, or financial services space that promote complex financial products in a highly protected vertical.
- Strong understanding of the home equity market, products, and customer needs.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess and optimize campaign performance through data-driven decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of affiliate marketing platforms (e.g., Everflow, Sigma, Heap) and relevant industry tools.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with affiliates.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, and product teams.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available and willing to travel to several affiliate conferences throughout the year.
- PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively partner with leaders across multiple functions

Target base compensation is $135,000 - $143,000 annually. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
