Senior Product Manager - Servicing

Remote

About Unlock

Unlock’s mission is to unleash the power of home equity to enrich people’s lives. We do this through a financial solution called a Home Equity Agreement or HEA, an entirely new way to access and utilize home equity. We’re not a lender, so there are no interest charges or monthly payments and homeowners with poor credit or high levels of debt can still qualify. We're beyond passionate about helping our customers build greater financial resiliency. We are mission driven, consumer centric and our products are designed for the way homeowners want to live their lives today - with flexibility and control.

About the role

The Senior Product Manager, Servicing is responsible for leading the modernization and long-term evolution of Unlock’s core servicing, post-closing, treasury, and capital markets technology, including the transformation of the legacy proprietary system into a scalable, integrated, cloud-based platform. The Product Manager partners closely with Servicing, Portfolio Management, Post-Closing, Engineering, Data, Compliance, Investor Operations and Treasury to map workflows, identify risk areas, and design modern digital tools that increase accuracy, reduce operational friction, and meet investor and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

  • Own the product roadmap for servicing, post-closing, and asset-management systems, including our servicing systems 2.0’s phased rebuild.
  • Lead discovery across Servicing, Portfolio Management, Post-Closing, Treasury, and Capital Markets to document workflows, pain points, and system gaps.
  • Partner with other Product Managers, Engineering and Data to ensure data accuracy and consistency across our operational systems, Snowflake, AWS RDS, and internal servicing tools.
  • Drive migration of the legacy WinForms/MS SQL application to a modern AWS-based architecture (RDS, S3, GraphQL).
  • Create product requirements for servicing workflows, including but not limited to payoff and settlement processes, asset statements, valuation and credit monitoring, document ingestion and classification, and audit and approval workflows.
  • Consolidate document storage from SharePoint into centralized S3-based systems.
  • Ensure servicing 2.0 integrates cleanly with credit, AVM, lien, and investor reporting systems across the Unlock platform.
  • Partner with Compliance and Capital Markets teams to ensure the platform meets state regulations, investor requirements, and audit standards.
  • Support staged rollout by user group, ensuring proper testing, change management, and operational readiness.
  • Define success metrics (workflow efficiency, data accuracy, error reduction, servicing SLAs).

What we're looking for

  • 4–7 years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience with mortgage, lending, home equity, capital markets, servicing, banking or other fintech.
  • Strong technical background with experience in one of more of the following: SQL-based systems, Snowflake, GraphQL, AWS RDS/S3, or similar architectures.
  • Proven track record modernizing or replacing legacy internal tools.
  • Experience managing complex operational workflows involving data dependencies, compliance rules, and multi-team processes.
  • Exceptional requirements gathering, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort working with large structured datasets.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive clarity across teams.
  • Strong project management skills; able to prioritize phased rollouts and multi-stream dependencies.
  • PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively partner with leaders across multiple functions.
  • Ability to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with investor reporting and collateral valuation data.
  • Understanding of lien management, payoff processes, and servicing compliance.
  • Experience with WinForms, .NET, or modernization of legacy Microsoft-based systems.
  • Advanced analytics skills (Snowflake, SQL, Looker/BI tools).

What we offer

  • Dynamic and inclusive work environment that fosters innovation and growth
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Ongoing professional development and career advancement opportunities
  • Flexible work arrangements and a strong emphasis on work-life balance

Target base compensation is $155,000 - $175,000 annually. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Additionally, Unlock's Total Rewards package is highly competitive, designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play – such as 401K matching, health benefits, employee stock options and paid time off.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
