Title: Senior Analyst

Direct Manager Title: Senior Director, Analytics


What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role across multiple lines of business, bridging the gap between client business objectives and Unlock Health’s technology solutions. A true utility player, your work assignments will vary greatly, ranging from supporting Unlock’s existing analytics solutions portfolio with clients to campaign reporting to developing new analytic solutions and insights.

We’re looking for an analyst with a consulting mindset, technical acumen, high level of curiosity, and strong stakeholder communication skills. We’ll help you gain a strong understanding of our products and services and how they interact to create client value. You’ll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves to deliver a broad range of business solutions leveraging analytics practices to support our healthcare focused business.

The Senior Analyst will be capable of collating, wrangling, merging and analyzing data in various analytic tools (like Tableau, LookerStudio, Excel, BigQuery, and Snowflake. Marketing measurement, claims data analysis, and revenue strategy focused analyses are the primary focus of the role, but a successful candidate will be able to identify opportunities for deeper analytics work, design solutions, source and analyze data, and develop insights. Critical thinking and strategic thinking will be key to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Insights and Marketing Reporting:
    • Find the “story” in the data and communicate insights with clients and internal team members
    • Combine and analyze data sets from multiple sources / platforms such as client business information, marketing performance data, and licensed datasets
    • Conduct thorough analyses of business problems, leveraging Unlock products, processes, and your own technical skills
    • Build, maintain, and use Tableau, Looker, and client dashboards to enable rapid deployment and updates to inform internal teams and client interactions
    • Streamline, evolve and improve the effectiveness of our agency’s approach to identifying market opportunities and measuring their results

  • Continuous Improvement (CI):
    • Evaluate and recommend process and tool improvements to enhance the overall value of our products and services
    • Collaborate with development teams, product managers, client success teams, and other stakeholders to create positive results for our clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Agency or consulting experience preferred
  • 3+ years of proven experience in an analytics role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience creating dashboards and reports within Tableau
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience with SQL
