Who You Are

You’re a strategic, technically minded problem solver who knows how to connect marketing goals with the technology needed to bring them to life. You understand how complex marketing technology ecosystems work together—from data flow and integrations to platforms, processes, and architecture—and can translate that complexity into clear, scalable solutions for healthcare clients.

In this role, you’ll lead the strategic design, optimization, and integration of marketing technology ecosystems, shaping frameworks and systems architecture that connect client objectives with technical capabilities. You’re comfortable setting the broader technical vision while understanding what it takes to implement it, serving as a trusted bridge between client stakeholders, marketing teams, and technical partners. With a systems-level mindset, you’ll help ensure technology environments are integrated, efficient, scalable, and built to evolve.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Framework & Architecture
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive marketing technology strategies aligned with individual client business objectives and healthcare compliance requirements
    • Design and document integrated technology ecosystems for clients that connect CRM, EMR/EHR, marketing automation, and patient engagement platforms
    • Create detailed system architecture diagrams showing data flow, integration points, and dependencies across clients' full tech stacks
    • Establish governance frameworks for client data management, system access, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
    • Lead technology roadmap planning and technology evaluation processes for multiple healthcare clients
  • Healthcare Technology Integration
    • Architect seamless integrations between client marketing systems and clinical platforms (EMR/EHR) to enable patient journey optimization
    • Design data synchronization protocols between client CRM systems and electronic health records while maintaining strict compliance standards
    • Develop patient engagement workflows that leverage clinical data for personalized marketing communications across diverse client environments
    • Ensure client marketing technology stacks support patient acquisition, retention, and care coordination initiatives
  • Systems Architecture & Data Flow Management
    • Map and optimize data flow between client IVR systems, call tracking platforms, CRM, marketing automation tools, performance marketing and other tools as required
    • Design attribution models in partnership with Analytics that connect patient touchpoints from initial marketing engagement through clinical outcomes for each client
    • Develop comprehensive patient journey mapping that incorporates both marketing and clinical system touchpoints across various client environments
    • Create data integration strategies for client scheduling systems, patient portals, and appointment management platforms
    • Establish real-time and batch data synchronization protocols across all connected client systems
  • Platform Setup & Configuration
    • Lead the setup, configuration, and technical architecture of CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and other MarTech tools for healthcare clients
    • Design system configurations that enable internal workflow teams to build effective patient engagement campaigns for clients
    • Establish proper data models, field mapping, and segmentation structures within client CRM and marketing automation tools
    • Configure integrations and API connections to support seamless data flow between all client MarTech systems
    • Monitor client system performance and recommend optimizations for improved efficiency and patient experience
  • Client Management & Communication
    • Serve as the primary technical consultant for healthcare clients on marketing technology initiatives
    • Present complex technical concepts and system architectures to client executives and stakeholders
    • Collaborate with client clinical operations, IT, compliance, and marketing teams to align technology initiatives
    • Lead client discovery sessions to understand existing technology landscapes and integration requirements
    • Provide ongoing strategic guidance and technical support throughout client engagements

Ideal Qualifications

  • Healthcare Technology Experience
    • 8+ years of experience in marketing technology with at least 4 years specifically in healthcare environments or serving healthcare clients
    • Deep expertise with CRM platforms in healthcare settings (Salesforce Health Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics Healthcare, Epic Cheers or similar)
    • Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems integration (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, or other major platforms)
    • Proven track record of working within HIPAA-compliant environments and understanding healthcare data regulations
    • Experience managing multiple client relationships and delivering technical solutions across diverse healthcare organizations
  • Technical Systems Knowledge
    • CRM Systems Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of CRM platforms in healthcare settings (Salesforce Health Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics Healthcare, Epic Cheers or similar) including advanced configuration, customization, and integration capabilities
    • Strong understanding of IVR systems architecture, call routing, and integration capabilities
    • Experience with call tracking platforms and phone system integrations (CallRail, DialogTech, Invoca, or similar)
    • Deep knowledge of marketing automation platform setup and configuration (Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot, SFMC or similar) with healthcare-specific requirements
    • Knowledge of patient scheduling systems and appointment management platforms
    • Understanding of patient portal technologies and their integration requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in creating detailed system architecture diagrams and technical documentation
    • Advanced CRM configuration and customization skills including field management, automation rules, and user permissions
    • Platform setup and configuration expertise including API understanding, data mapping, and system architecture
    • Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes
    • Knowledge of database management and SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
    • Understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements in healthcare technology
  • Strategic & Communication Skills
    • Proven ability to translate client business requirements into technical specifications
    • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, multi-system implementations across multiple clients
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and executive client audiences
    • Experience with vendor management and technology procurement processes for healthcare organizations
    • Consulting experience with ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
