European Logistics Manager

Hemel Hempstead, England, United Kingdom

Founded in 2020, unybrands is the next-generation brand accelerator platform built to acquire, integrate, and scale digital-first consumer brands. Headquartered in Miami, with offices in New York, London, Berlin, and Shenzhen, our 240+ team brings deep expertise across e-commerce, brand management, consumer retail, operational scaling, and M&A.

Since inception, we have acquired 30+ brands across Pet Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Supplements, Baby & Juvenile, Garden & Outdoor, Sports & Fitness, and Home & Lifestyle — completing 20+ acquisitions and delivering 16 consecutive quarters of like-for-like organic growth post-integration.

Our competitive advantage lies in a fully integrated operating system purpose-built to transform digital brands into omni-channel category leaders. Powered by a proprietary technology stack built on NetSuite ERP with 200+ data integrations, our platform enables brands to thrive across marketplaces, direct-to-consumer channels, and brick-and-mortar retail.

We focus on acquiring digital-first brands within carefully selected verticals, then applying tailored value creation playbooks that drive growth through innovation, expansion, and automation. We believe the next generation of consumer brands will be built differently — and we're building the AI-enabled retail tech platform to help them consolidate and win.

The Role

Lead the delivery of combined transportation and warehousing & distribution services across the UK and EU. You are the primary point of contact for European 3PL partners and the operational face of the Logistics Platform in the region — responsible for ensuring European operations consistently meet the cost, reliability, and service-level targets set by the platform's service catalogue.

This is an execution-focused operational role, not a standalone country manager or strategy position. Commercial decisions, P&L ownership, and brand-level strategy sit outside this role.

Key Responsibilities

3PL Partner Management

  • Own day-to-day relationships with European 3PL warehouses, acting as unybrands' senior operational counterpart to site managers and account leads.
  • Lead regular performance reviews, service-level monitoring, and cost management.
  • Manage escalations promptly and constructively, maintaining strong partner relationships while holding performance to account.

Transportation Execution

  • Manage European transportation flows: inbound from suppliers, intra-Europe transfers, and outbound to Amazon and other fulfilment partners.
  • Coordinate cross-region flows that originate or terminate in Europe.

Warehousing & Distribution

  • Ensure European warehousing operations run reliably against the platform's service catalogue.
  • Manage exceptions, support new product launches and channel expansions, and contribute to capacity planning for the region.

Service Catalogue Delivery

  • Deliver platform services consistently to European consumers (End-to-End SCM, Planning, SPQ) on the same terms as the rest of the platform.
  • Identify region-specific exceptions that require service catalogue adaptation and escalate to the Head of Logistics Platform for resolution.

SOP Adherence & Continuous Improvement

  • Operate within and take ownership role in defining the SOPs authored by the Director of Logistics Operating Standards.
  • Provide structured operational feedback from European execution into the SOP review cadence so the framework reflects regional reality.
  • Identify cost-to-serve improvements, freight optimisation opportunities, and operational efficiencies specific to the European footprint.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 6–10 years of progressive logistics or distribution experience in consumer goods, e-commerce, or retail.
  • At least 3 years in regional or country-level logistics leadership.
  • Direct experience managing 3PL relationships at site or account level — essential.
  • Experience across both transportation and warehousing preferred; deep expertise in one with solid exposure to the other is acceptable.
  • Working knowledge of UK and EU logistics operations, including post-Brexit customs and trade flows.
  • Familiarity with the European 3PL market structure (pan-European operators, regional specialists, country-specific providers) is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Comfortable with NetSuite or comparable ERP for transactional operations.
  • Familiarity with TMS, WMS, and warehouse operational reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical foundation; confident working with cost-to-serve, freight cost, and operational KPI data.

Personal Attributes

  • Operationally oriented — you get things done reliably, not just plan them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable operating as the senior platform presence in a region without daily direct supervision.
  • Firm on 3PL performance while keeping partnerships constructive.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and EU.

First Six Months

  • Map and document the current European 3PL portfolio — site capabilities, performance history, and relationship status.
  • Establish a standing operating cadence with each European 3PL: performance reviews, escalation paths, and improvement workstreams.
  • Onboard into the platform service catalogue and SOP framework; surface any European-specific gaps to the Head of Logistics Platform.
  • Build working relationships with the End-to-End SCM team, the global International Transportation lead, and the Director of Logistics Operating Standards.
  • Deliver the first quarterly view of European cost-to-serve, freight, and warehousing cost performance in partnership with the Supply Chain Finance Lead.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
