About the Role:

The Organizational Development (OD) Specialist role is crucial in enhancing Upgrade’s organizational effectiveness and aligning our workforce with key business strategies in the rapidly evolving financial technology sector. The OD Specialist will play a key role in driving our company's success by aligning our workforce with Upgrade’s values and objectives through impactful onboarding and developmental initiatives. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the end to end execution and implementation of organizational development strategies that support Upgrade business objectives 
  • Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement in our structure, culture, and processes
  • Support the implementation of change management initiatives in support of organizational development initiatives
  • Design and deliver training and other OD programming to enhance employees' onboarding and ongoing development
  • Support leadership development by facilitating mentoring and coaching programs for emerging and existing leaders at Upgrade
  • Utilize data analysis methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of organizational development initiatives. 
  • Synthesize data to create and present reports on key performance indicators to stakeholders and leadership 
  • Work closely with L&OD Leadership, HR, management, and other departments/key stakeholders to identify and address organizational needs
  • Manage the administration of programs as directed, executing on tasks such as management of class scheduling and participant rosters, sending program/session invitations, creation and management of training communications + templates, scheduling catering, post-training survey administration and data reporting on assigned programs. 

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in organizational development, preferably in the financial technology sector
  • Strong understanding of organizational development trends and challenges
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop, foster and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and project management methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, including Google Slides (instructional design skills) 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with financial technology platforms and systems
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and relevant HR software systems

Nice to Have: 

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Certifications in organizational development or change management
  • Experience with agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives
