About the Role:
We're seeking a data-driven and hands-on Manager / Sr Manager on our Card Credit Risk team to drive a variety of portfolio analytics and policy design initiatives. In this role, you'll work on policies like overlimit authorizations, payment holds, and suspensions. You will use a combination of internal and external data, along with business judgement and strategic thinking, to develop new policies and enhance existing ones. You will also track portfolio performance
and surface insights for us to better manage existing customer accounts. You will partner with the business, product, and other partner teams to deliver holistic and integrated business outcomes. Your work will enhance portfolio performance, advance our ability to competitively serve customers, and ensure predictable and strong returns from our Card product.
This role will be based in our Wilmington or San Francisco office in a hybrid capacity.
What You’ll Do:

Develop and enhance policies such as overlimit authorizations, payment holds, and suspension policies

Provide credit-risk support for product/marketing portfolio initiatives (Balance transfer or promotional offers, retention / graduation, etc)

Partner with product to use payment alerts, digital collections UX, and other levers to enhance on-time payment rates and encourage curing from delinquency

Partner with operations on testing/optimizing payment programs, hardships, etc

Develop and support strategic business initiatives such as migration of our legacy card product to our next generation cards

Ongoing portfolio monitoring of policy actions and outcomes
What We Look For:

3-6 years of experience in consumer finance, consulting, or other data-driven backgrounds

Experience with credit and analytics, particularly in a credit card policy context

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, strategic recommendations

Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python
-
Familiarity with LLMs and AI-enabled innovation

The ability to identify and articulate the business intuition in the data
