EAP Clinical Case Specialist will play a key role in the success and continued growth of Claremont/Uprise Health by providing top notch clinical skills and customer service. Our Clinical Case Specialists are empowered to conduct a comprehensive clinical assessment and provide solution-focused guidance, advocacy and support on every call.

This position is required to work Pacific Time Zone Hours from 8 am to 5 pm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • EAP clinical services experience, including clinical call center operations, case management, crisis response, and employer-based programs.
  • Assess clinical information provided and apply medical necessity criteria.
  • Coordinate behavioral health physician advisor activities as well as consult on cases with medical complications.
  • Coordinate discharge planning needs with facility, health services providers, members and family.
  • Provide care coordination with and facilitate referrals to physical health providers, social services and disability services as needed.
  • Record and resolve member and provider inquiries and complaints in accordance with company policies and procedures for first levels of appeals.
  • Triage calls from members in crisis and assist to ensure safety and access to appropriate care.
  • Handle and triage Employee Assistance Program service calls as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation in system.
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Essential Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in behavioral health field required
  • Clinical licensure required (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, or LMFT)
  • Ability to work pacific hours (8am -5pm PST)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Clinical setting preferred
  • EAP and call center experience required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using MS Office, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
  • SAP certification required
  • Bi-Lingual Spanish/English is a plus

Working Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a home remote office near office equipment (telephone, computer).  Verbal and written communication, telephone usage, filing, sitting, typing, reading, and carrying are required to perform the essential functions of this job.

The compensation range is based on the candidates experience and/or level of education or certifications.

Uprise Budgeted Pay Range

$100,000 - $100,000 USD
