Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator plays a key role in shaping the projects Uprite Construction pursues and delivers. You will lead the estimating process for a variety of commercial projects, from conceptual budgets to hard bids. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, has a sharp eye for detail, and can turn complex drawings into accurate numbers.
What You’ll Do

Lead the preparation of detailed estimates for projects of various sizes and types

Review plans and specifications to understand project scope and risks

Develop conceptual and schematic budgets during early project phases

Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors

Lead bid day efforts, including scope reviews and final pricing strategy

Mentor and guide junior estimators and interns

Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and leadership to align budgets with project goals

Continuously track cost trends, market conditions, and labor availability
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial construction

Strong knowledge of building systems, assemblies, and trade sequencing

Proven ability to prepare accurate, detailed estimates under tight deadlines

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Advanced proficiency in estimating and takeoff software

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
