Overview of the role:
Upshop is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for following the company's recruitment process, sourcing, identifying A Players, and building a strong pipeline. You will partner with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and requirements and guide the process from initial sourcing to offer negotiations. This position is a hybrid opportunity in Austin, Texas and will report to the Director, People.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and negotiating/closing offers
- Maintain and build out our ATS, Greenhouse
- Build and maintain a pipeline of A Player candidates using various sourcing methods such as job postings, social media, referrals, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific recruitment needs and requirements
- Develop job descriptions, job postings, and other recruitment-related materials that reflect the company's culture and values
- Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and fit
- Manage candidate communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate recruiting and onboarding experience
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular, accurate reports on recruitment activity
- Learn our business, both strengths and pain points to find the talent that accelerates our organization.
- Build our employer brand by utilizing social media, career fairs, and other resources
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Experience working in a Technology or SaaS platform company is critical
- Greenhouse Guru
- Proven track record of hiring top technical, sales, and corporate talent
- Knowledge of the latest and emerging recruitment technologies and tools
- Ability to leverage creative sourcing strategies to locate hard-to-find talent
- Experience with understanding, explaining, and assessing for technical capabilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with hiring managers and candidates
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously
- Positive attitude with a high level of initiative, solution-mindset and accountability
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field or equivalent in experience
