Overview of the role: 

As our People Generalist, you’ll be the go-to person for core People processes such as onboarding and offboarding, People systems support, reporting and analytics, benefits and leave administration. You'll help us scale our people operations while delivering an exceptional employee experience. This is a hybrid role. 

Responsibilities: 

Onboarding & Offboarding: 

  • Coordinate pre-boarding, new hire orientations, and exit processes. 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with internal processes. 

HR Reporting & Analytics: 

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports (headcount, turnover, DEI, etc.). 
  • Analyze HR data to support decision-making and improve HR processes. 

Benefits Administration: 

  • Support enrollment, changes, and communication of employee benefits. 
  • Liaise with providers to resolve employee inquiries or issues. 

Leave Management: 

  • Administer leaves of absence (parental, disability, etc.), track balances, and ensure legal compliance. 
  • Communicate with employees and managers on leave timelines and documentation. 

HR Systems & Data Management: 

  • Maintain data integrity in our HRIS (ADP). 
  • Support system updates, audits, and workflows. 

General HR Support: 

  • Assist with policy administration, compliance, and employee documentation. 
  • Support Immigration documentation and requests
  • Support broader HR projects and initiatives as needed. 

 

Requirements:  

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Coordinator or Generalist role. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP) and data reporting tools. 
  • Experience with metrics and KPIS 
  • Understanding of employment laws and benefits administration is an asset. 
  • Global experience an asset. 
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn and grow.
