Overview of the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales leader to launch and scale Upshop’s commercial presence across Europe. This role is responsible for building a high-performance sales team, acquiring new enterprise retail clients, and expanding strategic relationships across the region. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in enterprise SaaS sales, a deep understanding of the European retail landscape, and a passion for building culture and capability from the ground up. 

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team across key European markets, with an emphasis on accountability, coaching, and results.
  • Market Expansion: Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Europe, with a focus on the UK, Nordics, and other priority regions.
  • Customer Acquisition & Growth: Drive new logo acquisition and expand existing accounts through strategic engagement and value-based selling.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success to align on regional priorities and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Own pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and performance reporting for the European region. 

Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven success building and scaling sales teams in new or emerging markets.
  • Experience selling into retail, supply chain, or store operations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the European business environment and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Fluent in English.
