About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Assurance Analyst to oversee and manage our Data Service Desk, focusing on data support tickets and operational efficiency. This role involves auditing and monitoring data within internal systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will work closely with Data Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across UPSTACK to develop, document, and enforce data policies and standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for owning and maintaining the Salesforce Data Dictionary, ensuring it remains up-to-date and aligned with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and operation of Data Service Desk (data support tickets).
  • Audit and monitor data in internal systems.
  • Inform and document data policies and standards working closely with Data SMEs across UPSTACK.
  • Own and maintain the Salesforce Data Dictionary.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. This educational background provides a foundational understanding of data management, analytics, and technical problem-solving. 

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems, including understanding CRM data structures and integration. 
  • Solid understanding of technology and computer science principles, including software development and data systems. 
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools. Ability to identify patterns, trends, and data issues from various data sources. 
  • Awareness of data auditing processes and practices, including techniques for ensuring data accuracy and integrity. 
  • Familiarity with creating, documenting, and enforcing data policies and standards. 
  • Strong math skills for data analysis, including statistical techniques and quantitative reasoning. 
  • Proficiency in computer-related skills, including programming or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) relevant to data management. 
  • Ability to create detailed, clear, and insightful reports and presentations. Proficiency in data visualization tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. 
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to examine complex data, identify trends, and address data-related issues. 
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and handle detailed work efficiently. 
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively with various teams. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with various departments (e.g., UX/UI, Engineering, Sales) to achieve common goals. 
  • Genuine interest in building and operating data auditing processes to ensure data quality and compliance. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address data issues, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and dynamic work environments, showing flexibility in managing changes and new challenges.

Salary Range

Employees new to UPSTACK typically come in at the start of the pay range. UPSTACK focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure, which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, and job-related skills. 

The salary range for this role is $45,000.00 to $55,000.00.
