About the Role
As TPM, you’ll be responsible for driving initiatives from ideation to implementation. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and other business stakeholders to ensure program success. You’ll also support our Centers of Excellence by helping define charters, facilitate steering committees, and operationalize initiatives with precision.

- Serve as the program owner and operational leader within UPSTACK Technology, ensuring goals are clear, milestones are met, and stakeholders are aligned
- Translate big-picture strategy into detailed execution plans with documentation, accountability frameworks, and consistent follow-through
- Build, manage, and optimize systems and workflows that drive progress across initiatives
- Launch and support Centers of Excellence, including drafting charters, establishing steering committees, and managing collaboration across functional areas
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and coordination across platforms
- Support release planning ensuring Technology is enabling visibility across the organization
- Act as a change agent to embed structure, consistency, and process excellence into evolving teams
- Roll up your sleeves when needed—jumping into tools, workflows, or documentation to move projects forward
- 3+ years in a Technical Program Manager or similar role within a technology-driven environment
- Proven ability to operate in lean environments and take initiative to build from scratch
- Strong execution skills—able to drive clarity in ambiguity
- Excellent communication skills; capable of influencing without authority across various levels of the organization
- Comfort with tools and platforms—able to learn quickly and create process flows or documentation when systems may not yet exist
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategy and execution—you think in frameworks but act decisively
- A high degree of accountability and a “get-it-done” mindset
What You'll Need to Thrive
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with evolving priorities
- Ability to balance multiple initiatives while maintaining high attention to detail
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, release planning, and project documentation best practices
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Business Operations teams
- Self-starting attitude with a passion for creating clarity from chaos
Tools & Systems Experience (Preferred)
- Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Notion, Loop)
- Proficiency with product management platforms (e.g., AHA, Jira, Figma)
- Familiarity with release planning and agile delivery systems
- Comfortable evaluating and standing up new tools to streamline execution
- Experience launching or working within Centers of Excellence or similar cross-functional programs

Salary Range
Employees new to UPSTACK typically come in at the start of the pay range. UPSTACK focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure, which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, and job-related skills.
The salary range for this role is $105,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually plus participation in the annual bonus structure.
