Our Full Time Medical Assistant (MA) will be part of our agile team, making the future of complex chronic care delivery the way it should be – human-centered and personalized. Our MAs are the heartbeat of the support team. In this key role you’ll showcase your passion for administrative, hospitality, customer service, and hands on clinical skills; all in support of patient care. You will report to the Senior Director of Operations. This role will be on-site.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with vital collection and documentation; as well as other general clinical assistance
- Deliver a positive, warm greeting to each patient as they walk in the clinic
- Own patient scheduling and onboarding; to include initial scheduling, rescheduling, follow-up appointments, and appointment confirmation
- Answer phones, emails, texts (via platform), and inquiries (billing and general) from referring providers and patients in a timely and accurate manner
- Receive packages, order supplies, re/stock supplies, light housekeeping, and general clinic support functions
- Own suite and supply sanitation between patients
What you’ll need:
- You will have 2+ years of clinical experience
- Active Certified Medical Assistant designation
- Active CPR Certification
- Familiarity with injection therapy (infusion therapy good, but not required)
- Strong understanding of clinical processes and protocols
