We’re looking for a results-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Revenue Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategy through precise forecasting and meaningful insights. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, and storytelling — ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, data-driven environment. Upwork supports a hybrid workforce. This role is remote-first, with optional in-person collaboration opportunities at our hub locations.
Responsibilities

Build and continuously improve weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue forecasts using driver-based and statistical models

Analyze marketplace and financial performance data to identify trends and enhance forecasting accuracy

Deliver variance analyses and revenue updates with clear, actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders

Partner across FP&A, Product, Data Science, Marketing, and Accounting to align on revenue strategies

Create and maintain dashboards that visualize performance and inform key financial decisions

Communicate complex data stories in a simple, compelling way for non-technical audiences

Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline reporting and increase accuracy
What it takes to catch our eye

3–5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance role

Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with SQL, Looker, or Tableau is a plus

Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and apply statistical techniques such as regression or time-series analysis

Strong communication skills, with experience translating financial data into clear, strategic insights

Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

The annual base salary range for this position is displayed below. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position, and individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for the annual bonus plan or sales incentive plan and eligibility to participate in our long term equity incentive program.

$99,250 - $125,000 USD
