This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Manager of Analytics.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute advanced experiments (A/B test, difference-in-difference, regression discontinuity, synthetic control, switchback designs) to rigorously measure causal impact of product interventions.
  • Support product metrics tracking and development for the Freelancer Subscription product; design tests and conduct analyses to optimize conversion funnels and reduce churn across the entire freelancer lifecycle.
  • Identify high-value feature sets to inform long-term subscription packaging and the product roadmap.
  • Support the development of comprehensive incentives and promotional frameworks to identify the highest ROI among various bonus structures.
  • Accelerate onboarding for high-intent supply and drive initiatives to increase active supply and improve retention in key marketplace areas.
  • Translate complex analyses into business recommendations that balance revenue, user retention, and marketplace efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, Research, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and User Research) to co-design solutions, benchmark practices, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Build clear and accessible reporting frameworks (dashboards, deep-dive readouts, metric definitions) that track performance of monetization products such as ads, subscriptions, and Connects.
  • Drive proactive analytics work, framing problems from the customer’s perspective and anticipating business needs.
  • Present insights with strong communication skills—both verbal and non-verbal—tailoring storytelling to executives, product leadership, and cross-functional partners.

What it Takes to Catch Our Eye:

  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in product analytics, data analysis, or equivalent experience through post-graduate study in related fields (Economics, Statistics, etc.)
  • Experience in two-sided marketplaces, subscriptions, auctions, or ads with knowledge of market design principles and monetization levers.
  • Quantitative expertise in experimental design and causal inference methods, with the ability to measure true product impact and guide tradeoff decisions.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming (i.e., Python, R).
  • Adaptability and growth mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment while proactively uncovering opportunities to improve both user experience and business outcomes.
