We’re looking for a creative, passionate and bold Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. Our ideal candidate is an impeccable storyteller, a self-starter, and feels confident in front of a camera. We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram, always stays on top of trends, and experiments with new features. Must be creative and innovative, and bring a strong creative perspective and fluency in Social Media to ideate content and campaigns to drive business and elevate the brand. This is an ideal role for someone who lives and breathes social media and isn’t afraid to think outside the box!

*This is a part-time role (7 hours/week).

Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing team to create and launch creative assets for organic and paid social channels
  • Create engaging social media content and shoot assets on camera/iPhone
  • Assist marketing team with content ideas, creative briefs, and influencer campaigns
  • Create and edit 3+ TikTok videos/week based on the latest trends
  • Identify emerging trends and activate on them quickly to drive growth, engagement, and community for our brand
  • Draft social media captions using humor and a witty tone of voice
  • Travel to and assist with photoshoots and brand events as needed
  • Report on top-performing content for data-driven content creation

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with social media content creation; photography or video experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of all major social media platforms
  • Proficiency with Canva, G Suite, and video editing for social media
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; impeccable attention to detail
  • Self starter with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and quickly adapt in an evolving environment
  • Well-versed in platform-specific social media best practices
  • Must be NYC-based!
