The opportunity 

As our Head of Cybersecurity, you’ll be the guardian of our digital universe. You will  lead and shape our security strategy during a period of rapid growth. This high-impact, hands-on leadership role combines the responsibilities of a CISO and DPO. You will define our security vision together with key management roles, build a strong security culture, and ensure we meet compliance standards as we scale globally.

What you will do 

  • Cybersecurity Leadership: Define and implement company-wide security strategy aligned with business goals and product roadmap. Lead and mentor a growing security team.
  • Operational Security: Oversee secure design and operation of cloud infrastructure, application security, and secure CI/CD pipelines. Ensure best practices in IAM, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
  • Incident Response & Crisis Management: Lead security incident responses, manage crisis communication, and drive continuous improvement through post-incident analysis.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Own security risk management framework, lead audits and certifications (ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR), and manage third-party security risks.
  • Data Protection & Privacy: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR), manage data governance, and handle subject rights and breach notifications.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, and HR to embed security practices. Drive a security-first culture across the organization.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated leadership in cybersecurity with experience building security programs in fast-moving environments (startups/scale-ups preferred).
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on expertise in application security, cloud security, compliance and IAM.
  • Proven ability to manage complex security challenges, influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical teams.
