Construction Project Manager
Overview
We’re thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to take the lead on our facility expansion and renovation projects from planning all the way through to completion! In this role, you’ll be at the helm of all construction phases, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget—all while upholding the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage expansion and renovation projects, including new builds, site improvements, and structural additions.
- Develop and track scopes, schedules, budgets, and resources to keep everything on track.
- Coordinate with our fantastic internal teams and external partners (architects, engineers, contractors, vendors) to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with codes, permits, inspections, safety, and environmental standards.
- Oversee contractors and subcontractors, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage bidding, procurement, documentation, and project close-out with efficiency.
Must Haves
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial construction project management experience.
- Proven success managing projects in active operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Procore, AutoCAD, CMMS).
- Understanding of building codes, ADA, permits, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and vendor management skills.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in facility expansion or manufacturing renovation.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical requirements (e.g., chillers).
- Familiarity with Catawba County permitting and codes.
