Responsibilities 

Infrastructure Automation & CI/CD

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
• Automate deployment of data pipelines, models, and analytics services.
• Manage IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Data Pipeline Reliability & Monitoring

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of data infrastructure.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.) for data workloads.
• Optimize performance of data pipelines, batch jobs, and streaming processes.

Cloud & Platform Management

• Build and manage data infrastructure in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Support distributed data systems such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or Flink.
• Manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes, EKS and Docker.

Collaboration & Security

• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and ML engineers to improve workflow automation.
• Implement security best practices in data access, secrets management, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, cost optimization, and resource efficiency.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IaC tools.
• Hands-on experience with distributed data systems (YelloBriSpark, Kafka, Airflow, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
