About the Team

The Technical Project Management team at Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) helps transform strategic leadership vision into real, measurable results. We partner with cross-functional technical teams across the PlayStation ecosystem, guiding projects from idea to execution and ensuring that innovation stays on track.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Technical Program Management Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in how complex projects are managed and delivered at scale. You’ll work alongside experienced TPMs and contribute directly to the success of projects that impact the PS ecosystem. You will:

• Collaborating with project sponsors to understand business cases and help develop project initiation documents.

• Preparing and presenting project proposals to leadership for review and approval.

• Coordinating project teams by breaking down tasks, managing schedules, and keeping everyone aligned and organized.

• Tracking progress and sharing regular status updates with key stakeholders.

• Supporting the adoption and practice of Agile methodology across teams.

Through these responsibilities, you’ll learn how to manage competing priorities, balance technical and business needs, and strengthen your organizational and leadership skills.

What We’re Looking For

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems with a focus or interest in business management with graduation expected between December 2026 and Spring 2027.

• Basic knowledge of IT concepts, including network, storage, cloud, and information security.

• Self-motivated and able to take ownership of assigned work.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Enthusiasm for learning and working with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure to complex challenges.

• A customer-first mindset with a positive, solutions-oriented approach.

Eligibility

• Students with expected graduation between December 2026 and Spring 2027 from an accredited university. Undergraduate Degree

• Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

• Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.

At this time, SIE will only consider applicants who are authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from SIE now or in the future to maintain their authorization to work in the United States.

Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the pay rate is exclusive to the internship period and may not reflect what pay may look like following the completion of an internship.
