The Subscriptions team builds scalable Java-based services that connect PlayStation users to the content and services they love. We believe anything can be learned, and we foster creative thinking in the pursuit of innovative solutions. We embrace our mistakes and continue to improve.

As part of our team, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to contribute directly to our services and collaborate with neighboring teams. You’ll gain practical experience in designing, building, and maintaining reliable systems that support millions of PlayStation users worldwide.

This internship offers hands-on experience in modern software engineering and the opportunity to learn from a passionate team committed to technical excellence and creative problem-solving.

What You’ll Do

• Perform in-depth requirement analysis to understand and refine technical needs

• Craft elegant, maintainable solutions with accurate test coverage

• Investigate and address operational incidents to improve system stability

• Participate in design and code reviews with peers to strengthen product quality

What We’re Looking For

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related technical field with graduation expected between December 2026 and Spring 2027.

• Experience with Java

• Experience developing web services

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Experience using source control (especially Git)

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Eligibility

• Students with expected graduation between December 2026 and Spring 2027 from an accredited university. Undergraduate Degree

• Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

• Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.

Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the pay rate is exclusive to the internship period and may not reflect what pay may look like following the completion of an internship.
