Within PlayStation's Global Sales and Business Operations Group, the Direct to Consumer team brings together diverse talent from around the world, with a shared passion for engaging PlayStation gamers with meaningful content and products. This area of PlayStation has grown significantly in recent years and is now a key revenue contributor, continuing to adapt to new business models and industry changes.
The PlayStation Store business is evolving rapidly, with a focus on growth, efficiency, and optimization. As part of this, we are building a Global Planning and Proposition team dedicated to shaping the value proposition of the Store.
About the Role:
As a PlayStation Store Planning Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with global teams on projects that reach millions of players. You will support major campaigns, learn how large-scale events are executed, and help deliver content that drives engagement across the PlayStation Store.
What You’ll Do:

Contribute to the planning and production of Real World Events on PlayStation Store in a global setting (Summer Game Fest (US), Gamescom (EU), Tokyo Game Show (JP))

Support the coordination of major AAA pre-orders, ensuring world-class launches on the PlayStation Store

Help create best practice documentation for on-Store Real World Event executions to share with teams worldwide

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring projects from planning to delivery

What We’re Looking For:

Current enrollment in an accredited university Bachelor’s program in marketing or business with a focus on e-Commerce, or a related field, with graduation expected between December 2026 and Spring 2027.

High attention to detail with a strong focus on customer experience

Collaborative mindset, with a drive to go above and beyond

Self-motivated and able to see projects through to completion

Strong relationship-building and communication skills at all levels

Familiarity and interest in a broad range of video games are necessary. Including familiarity with PlayStation Store
Eligibility

Students with expected graduation between December 2026 and Spring 2027 from an accredited university. Undergraduate

Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.

Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the pay rate is exclusive to the internship period and may not reflect what pay may look like following the completion of an internship.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
