About the Team
Sony PlayStation is seeking one Strategy MBA Intern to join the Corporate Strategy & Development team and help define the future of the gaming industry.
Our team leads mid-to-long-term strategic planning and drives PlayStation’s annual strategy process. We partner closely with the CEO, senior executives, and Business Units to develop analyses and insights that guide decision-making at the highest level.
About the Role
As a Corporate Strategy Intern, you’ll gain a holistic view of PlayStation’s business while contributing to projects that shape its strategic direction. You’ll collaborate across departments to bring a project from ideation to execution—culminating in presenting your findings and recommendations to leadership.
This internship provides a rare opportunity to strengthen PlayStation’s business strategies through data, research, and consumer insights, while deepening your understanding of the global gaming ecosystem.
What You’ll Do

Identify and develop transformative growth and innovation strategies, while supporting complex strategic development projects

Conduct research and analysis to explore new business opportunities and assess existing business lines

Develop, coordinate, and implement plans that increase business value and capture new growth opportunities

Brainstorm and evaluate opportunities across the gaming industry using quantitative and qualitative analyses

Create executive-level corporate strategy presentations, including strategic frameworks and insights

Build financial, operational, and predictive models to support strategic initiatives

Perform data-driven analysis and collaborate with internal data and analytics teams

Manage cross-functional working groups spanning engineering, product, and business teams

Leverage your understanding of the interactive entertainment industry, including its value chain, competitive landscape, technologies, and business models

What We’re Looking For

Current enrollment in an accredited university MBA with a strategic planning, management consulting, finance, gaming, or tech focus, with graduation expected between December 2026 and Spring 2027.

Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills

Proven ability to analyze diverse information and distill it into clear, actionable recommendations

Strong self-direction and comfort navigating ambiguity in complex projects

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively across all levels and functions

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under varied time constraints

High attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality

A clear passion for gaming, content, media, entertainment, and/or technology

Students with expected graduation between December 2026 and Spring 2027 from an accredited university. Advanced Degree - MBA

Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
