Marketing Executive (6 Month FTC)

ustwo games is a 40-person, B corp certified games studio, best known as the creators of The Monument Valley series, Assemble With Care, Alba: a Wildlife Adventure and Desta: The memories between. We are a multi-discipline team drawing from a diverse range of experiences and creative influences; our aim is to craft interactive entertainment with stand-out production values, heart and broad appeal. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our team. This role will sit within our wider Business Support team, reporting to the Marketing Manager directly.

This will be a 6 month fixed term contract, working 2 days per week from our studio in Oval and up to 3 days from home.

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain and update a weekly marketing calendar in alignment with the Marketing Manager and the broader company launch plan.
• Collaborate with our social media and community agency to plan, review, and approve weekly content.
• Design and produce creative assets for user acquisition campaigns, including stills and videos.
• Create a variety of marketing materials such as YouTube thumbnails, recruitment graphics, and more.
• Manage and update the company website, LinkedIn page, and other owned digital assets.
• Moderate and support engagement within our community Discord.
• Work closely with the art and design teams to update and optimise our Steam and other store pages.
• Develop and pitch creative marketing ideas for our existing game catalog.
• Assist in the execution of marketing strategies alongside the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams.
• Assist with end-to-end research projects independently.
• Support the development of marketing collateral as needed.
• Proactively respond to and manage ad hoc video and stills requests from key partners in conjunction with the marketing manager
• Stay informed on content trends, new marketing opportunities, emerging tech, and platforms.

Requirements:

• Digitally and technology savvy
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in creating and managing regular content for social platforms
• Working knowledge of the the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve
• Solid copy and editing skills, from social and blogs to writing effective long-form storytelling articles built around SEO and ASO
• Understanding of tone of voice, opportunities and cultural sensitivities 
• Good Initiative and knows how to work and stand out in a fast moving environment 
• Understands the importance of market research in executing plans

Desirable:

• Basic knowledge of SEO and CTA
• Understanding of the content mix and social media
• Experience in dealing with passionate communities
