What we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead training initiatives focused on operational excellence in the short-term rental industry. This role involves delivering comprehensive training to franchise partners on best practices in guest and owner experience, property management software, and day-to-day operational processes. By providing partners with the right tools and strategies, you'll help ensure consistency, quality, and scalable growth across our network.

The ideal candidate has a proven background in training, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and hands-on experience in the short-term rental space, particularly in working with guests, owners, and property management platforms.

This is a hybrid position that will require you to be in our office in NW Portland for training sessions and at other times as needed. Candidates must be in located in the greater Portland, OR area.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate in-person training sessions for franchise partners at our North Campus in Portland, OR.
  • Collaborate with Partner Success Managers and Support Teams to plan and execute training events both on-campus and in-market.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions—both in-person and virtual—on key operational topics including property management best practices, housekeeping, maintenance, reservations, onboarding, property standards, and property management systems (Guesty and Streamline).
  • Track learner completion progress using our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Communicate and coordinate training schedules to ensure seamless travel and provide exceptional learning events.
  • Assist in developing and updating training materials such as presentations, guides, and handouts to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and L&D teams to keep training content aligned with current standards and operational practices.
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes and integrate relevant updates into training programs.
  • Maintain organized training records and documentation for compliance and performance tracking.
  • Gather and evaluate learner feedback to recommend process or content improvements that enhance training effectiveness.

Skills you'll need

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional relevant education or certifications are a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Proven ability to motivate and mentor learners with diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and facilitation techniques.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training delivery platforms.
  • Proficient in using property management software; experience with Guesty and Streamline preferred.
  • Able to work independently with sound judgment, discretion, and integrity.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, particularly in a franchise or partnership environment.

Compensation

  • $45370 - $77251 / year. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.
