About This Job

The Franchise Account Director manages the relationship between Casago's corporate brand and small to mid-size franchise owners, driving revenue growth, brand consistency, and operational compliance. This role acts as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to franchisees, focusing on performance optimization, marketing execution, and relationship management to ensure profitability and sustainable growth across their portfolio. The Franchise Account Director serves as the primary corporate liaison, providing hands-on support for franchise development, lead generation strategy, and operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions

  • Client Strategy & Team Leadership
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned portfolios of 4-8 and manage a team of Account Managers each managing 15-20 franchisees.
    • Lead and develop a high performing team of Account Managers.
    • Lead franchise onboarding, discovery sessions, and strategic planning processes aligned to individual franchise growth objectives
    • Build trust and foster collaborative partnerships with franchise owners and their management teams
    • Act as a trusted advisor, providing clear direction, recommendations, and operational guidance
    • Navigate complex conversations around performance expectations, operational challenges, and growth opportunities both internally and externally
    • Conduct quarterly business reviews to assess franchise health, review key performance indicators, and set strategic priorities
    • Coordinate with internal resources across operations, marketing, technology, and finance teams to support franchisee success
  • Revenue Growth & Business Development
    • Develop and execute strategies to increase franchisee revenue through property acquisition, occupancy optimization, and rate management
    • Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities for Casago solutions including premium services, technology upgrades, marketing packages, and owner acquisition programs
    • Manage revenue forecasts and growth projections for assigned franchise portfolio
    • Identify expansion opportunities within existing franchise footprints and recommend market entry strategies
    • Support franchise contract renewals, working closely with legal and finance teams to structure favorable termsAdvise on market trends, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies to maximize franchisee profitability
  • Performance Management & Compliance
    • Monitor key performance metrics including occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available rental (RevPAR), guest satisfaction scores, and owner satisfaction
    • Provide clear, actionable performance reporting that translates complex data into strategic insights and recommendations
    • Identify performance risks early and implement corrective action plans to address underperformance
    • Enforce Casago brand standards, operational protocols, and quality assurance requirements across franchise operations
    • Ensure contractual compliance with franchise agreements, including fee structures, reporting requirements, and performance benchmarks
    • Conduct property audits and operational reviews to verify adherence to Casago standards and identify improvement opportunities
    • Communicate results clearly and confidently to franchisee stakeholders through regular reporting cadences and business reviews
  • Operational Excellence & Problem Resolution
    • Advise franchisees on operational optimizations including staffing models, housekeeping operations, maintenance protocols, and guest services
    • Support technology adoption and system transitions, including property management software implementations and integration projects
    • Connect franchisees with corporate resources, training programs, and best practice sharing forums
    • Conduct field visits to franchise locations to assess operations, meet with local teams, and strengthen relationshipsAdvocate for franchisee needs internally and champion improvements to corporate support systems and processes

Skills + Qualifications

  • Required
    • 4+ years of enterprise account management or business development
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Proven track record of exceptional leadership and ability to drive accountability, build relationships, influence and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to advise on Property Management and build relationships with franchise ownership groups
    • Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing P&L statements, ROI calculations, and business performance metrics
    • Exceptional presentation and communication skills with ability to influence decision-makers at all organizational levels
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25% (domestic travel primarily)
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for occasional property tours and event participation
  • Preferred
    • Experience in hospitality, vacation rental, property management, or franchise industries
    • Knowledge of vacation rental management systems (e.g., Streamline, Guesty, Wheelhouse, Pricelabs, etc.) and distribution platforms (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com)
    • Experience with contract negotiations and legal agreement review

Physical Demands

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.

Compensation

  • $105000 - $135000 / year. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.

    • Typically a Monday - Friday workweek with expectations to be flexible to support the needs of the business.
