Are you an experienced HR Benefits Analyst?  Our team is looking for an energetic, strategic, forward thinking, thoughtful, collaborative Analyst to join our team.  A strong candidate will have robust experience with leave administration, Compliance reporting (ACA filings or Retirement plan 550 audits) and system configurations (open enrollment and/or benefit plans).

This is a hybrid position in Colorado. Specific days in the office are not required, but the incumbent is expected to be available for on-site meetings as needed within Eagle and Summit Counties.

 
About the opportunity: 

Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, this position plays a key role in supporting the administration and compliance of employee benefits programs, with a particular focus on employment leaves and regulatory adherence. This position also provides foundational support for compensation processes such as data audits, salary survey participation, and job classification reviews. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about ensuring employees have access to accurate and compliant benefits information.

 
What you will do:
 
  • Coordinates and supports implementation and administration of benefit and compensation programs.
  • Administer and track employee leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, state-specific leaves, etc.), ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies as well as vendor management.
  • Assists with benefit plan compliance reporting by preparing submission data and researching and implementing regulatory changes.
  • Manage administration of complex benefit configuration and billing.
  • Maintain accurate benefits data in HRIS by completing audits and investigating discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve benefits-related issues and improve employee experience.
  • Compile monthly and ad-hoc compensation reports for various HR teams such as Talent Acquisition and Business Partners.
  • Complete compensation salary survey submissions through compensation management platform.
  • Assist with job classifications by reviewing job descriptions, organizational structure and internal equity.
  • Explains benefit plans, costs, and procedures to employees in group and individual discussions.
  • Communicates timely and effectively to all levels of employees when issues arise; handles group communication effectively, hearing all sides of issues and demonstrating a calm, reassuring approach to addressing concerns.
  • Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
  • Must be HIPAA compliant

What you will need:
 
Experience:
  • 3 years of benefit administration experience in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Compensation administration experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Solid technical and analytical skills, solid problem solving and ability to work as a team member as well as independently required.
  • Knowledge of personnel and labor laws with a focus on FAMLI, ACA, 5500 filings preferred.
 
License(s):
  • N/A
Certification(s):
  • HR Certification(s), i.e., PHR, SPHR, CCP, etc. preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per year.

Yearly Pay:

$74,297 - $102,502.40 USD
