Account Executive

Denver, CO
Build More Than Just a Career. Build Your Future.

At Vailexa, we’re not just hiring — we’re building thinkers, creators, and future leaders.

We believe in giving people the space to grow, the freedom to think, and the opportunity to create real impact from day one. If you’re someone who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and grow beyond limits, you’ll feel right at home here.

Vailexa Technology is an IT staffing and talent solutions firm specializing in AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, and data talent. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, with a delivery center in Greater Noida, India, we place consultants with Fortune 1000 clients through direct, MSP/VMS, and systems integrator channels. We are hiring an Account Executive to open and grow Fortune 500 direct client accounts. You will own the full cycle: identifying target accounts, reaching hiring and procurement leaders, securing MSAs and vendor approvals, and turning first requisitions into lasting programs. You will be our first market presence in Denver and a core part of our scaling phase.

What you'll do

Cold calling and new business

  • Make 40–50 outbound calls a day to IT, security, data, and talent acquisition leaders, supported by email and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Qualify needs, book discovery meetings, and convert conversations into open requisitions.
  • Build and work target lists, tracking every touch and next step in the CRM.

Managing existing client relationships

  • Own day-to-day relationships with hiring managers, program managers, and procurement contacts at your accounts.
  • Lead regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews on fill rates, consultant performance, and upcoming needs.
  • Resolve issues quickly and keep clients informed on submittals, interviews, and starts.

Business development from existing clients

  • Grow each account through referrals and introductions to new hiring managers, departments, business units, and locations.
  • Spot new requirements early and position Vailexa for contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire, and SOW work.
  • Extend and renew current consultant engagements and expand the skill areas we support.

Client travel

  • Travel to client sites for meetings, business reviews, and relationship building, up to 20% of the time.
  • Represent Vailexa at client events, industry conferences, and networking forums.

Working with delivery

  • Translate client needs into clear job requirements for our internal recruiting team.
  • Screen candidates as needed before they are submitted to clients, confirming technical skills, experience, availability, and fit.
  • Hold delivery to quality and turnaround targets on every requirement.

What you bring:

Required

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales or account management, ideally in IT staffing, consulting, or technology services
  • Proven cold-calling ability: comfortable with daily outbound targets and a track record of booking meetings from cold outreach
  • Experience managing and growing existing client accounts, with examples of expanding revenue within an account
  • Working knowledge of IT staffing models: contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire, and SOW
  • Strong communication and relationship skills with technical and business leaders
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings; valid driver's license and the ability to travel by air
  • Organized and disciplined with a CRM

Preferred

  • Experience selling AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud, or data engineering talent
  • Existing relationships with IT or talent acquisition leaders at Fortune 1000 companies
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field

Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); paid time off; paid holidays; travel reimbursement
