Rockwell PlantPAx HMI Developer (FactoryTalk View SE)

We are seeking an experienced Rockwell PlantPAx HMI Developer to design, configure, and maintain FactoryTalk View SE human–machine interface (HMI) applications for industrial process control systems. This role focuses on developing standardized, high-performance operator interfaces aligned with Rockwell PlantPAx architecture and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FactoryTalk View SE HMI applications using PlantPAx objects and faceplates
• Configure alarms, trends, diagnostics, and navigation consistent with PlantPAx standards
• Integrate HMIs with ControlLogix / CompactLogix controllers
• Collaborate with controls, process, and operations teams to deliver intuitive operator interfaces
• Support system testing, commissioning, and operational troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation and adhere to lifecycle and change-management procedures

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with FactoryTalk View SE (networked/distributed architectures)
• Familiarity with Rockwell PlantPAx libraries, faceplates, and system conventions
• Working knowledge of Logix controllers, tags, and alarm models
• Experience with industrial process systems (power, chemical, gas, manufacturing, or similar)
• Strong attention to usability, consistency, and operational safety

Preferred

• Experience with PlantPAx system release standards
• Exposure to ISA-101 / high-performance HMI principles
• Familiarity with FactoryTalk Alarms & Events and FactoryTalk Linx
