Position Overview
Valimail is seeking a Demand Generation Director to own and drive our pipeline growth strategy. This role will play a critical part in capturing and converting leads into pipeline, ensuring marketing directly contributes to revenue. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this individual will design and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy, leveraging a mix of digital marketing, account-based strategies, email marketing, paid advertising, and events. They will also oversee our digital ad agency and collaborate closely with the SDR team to drive high-quality opportunities for sales.
This is a high-impact role for a strategic yet hands-on marketing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. We are looking for someone with a strong background in enterprise marketing tactics, who can effectively engage and convert large, complex accounts while aligning closely with sales to support long-cycle enterprise deals. The ideal candidate will be adept at running account-based marketing (ABM) programs, multi-channel campaigns, and event-driven enterprise pipeline strategies.

What You'll Be Doing
- Own and execute Valimail’s demand generation strategy, focusing on capturing, nurturing, and converting leads into pipeline.
- Develop a robust email marketing strategy in Marketo to drive engagement and conversion.
- Design and manage an ABX strategy in close collaboration with the SDR team to target key accounts effectively.
- Oversee the creation of data-driven, multichannel campaigns (email, paid media, social media, SEO, events, partnerships) to build pipeline and accelerated deals through the funnel.
- Lead event marketing strategy, including local industry events, ensuring alignment with overall demand generation goals.
- Create and optimize landing pages and lead capture forms to drive conversions.
- Develop processes for seamless lead handoff, tracking, and feedback loops to optimize campaign performance
- Analyze performance data to optimize campaign effectiveness and report on key demand generation metrics to senior leadership in partnership with our Revenue Operations team.
- Align with sales to ensure marketing-driven pipeline meets revenue targets.
About You
- 10+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or digital marketing in a B2B SaaS or cybersecurity company.
- Proven ability to develop and execute demand generation strategies that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to both strategize and execute.
- Expertise in Marketo, Salesforce, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, or similar).
- Strong understanding of ABX and account-based marketing tactics to engage target accounts effectively.
- Data-driven mindset with a track record of optimizing campaigns based on analytics, KPIs, and funnel performance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Bonus Points
- Experience in cybersecurity or a highly regulated industry.
- Previous experience running regional or field marketing programs.
- Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft) and intent data tools.
