About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Recruiter with a strong track record in full life-cycle recruiting to help grow our engineering team. This role will be based in New York City or San Francisco. You will work closely with engineering and product leadership to strategically source, engage, and hire world-class software engineers.
You should have 4+ of experience in recruiting technical talent, ideally both in-house and agency roles. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning the entire recruiting process—from outreach to offer—while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical roles, from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and close.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and define ideal candidate profiles.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent in competitive markets.
- Own and deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in Greenhouse, using metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
- Utilize tools like Gem and LinkedIn Recruiter to proactively build and engage high-quality talent pipelines.
- Work collaboratively with the broader People team on headcount planning and onboarding.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of technical recruiting experience with a combination of agency and in-house roles.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering roles, functions, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success recruiting in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
- Hands-on experience with ATS and modern recruiting tools, such as Greenhouse and Gem.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple open roles while maintaining a high-quality bar.
- Clear, persuasive communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset—comfortable using recruiting metrics to track progress and improve outcomes.
- A proactive, collaborative, and flexible team player who thrives in ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hiring across both NYC and SF tech markets.
- Familiarity with DEI strategies and inclusive recruiting practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
