VALVE ENGINEER

As a full-service valve repair operation, we pride ourselves in having a best-in-class team of skilled technicians perform a dynamic range of services to include but not limited to valve repair, in-line testing, upgrades/modifications, and turnkey outage solutions to premier leaders in the process industries. We require an engineer to provide leadership in the area of AOVs, MOVs, RVs, and CVs.

We have a one-year contract job to provide the following support in Southern New Jersey:

  • Job Description: Valve Engineer

    Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Valve Engineer to join our team for a one-year assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting various types of valves, including AOVs, MOVs, RVs, and CVs. This role involves both field support and preparation of test packages, with a hybrid work schedule.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Valve Support: Provide technical support for AOVs, MOVs, RVs, and CVs as needed.
    • Trace Analysis: Analyze traces for MOVs and AOVs using QuikLook, and for CVs using Ultracheck.
    • Software Proficiency: Utilize MIDAS and ACE calculation software for valve analysis and testing.
    • Test Package Preparation: Prepare test packages for MOVs and AOVs, including the use of ACE Test for AOV test packages.
    • Qualification: Obtain necessary testing and calculation qualifications to sign off on tests.
    • Field Support: Assist test teams in the field as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuikLook, Ultracheck, MIDAS, and ACE calculation software.
    • Experience: Previous experience with valve testing and support is highly desirable.
    • Flexibility: Ability to work onsite 1-2 days a week, with the expectation to come onsite as needed.
    • Able to be badged into a nuclear power plant.

    Duration:

    • Approximately 1 year.

    Work Schedule:

    • Hybrid position with 1-2 days a week onsite.
