Documentation Specialist – Entry Level (Biotech Manufacturing)

Valspec is hiring an Entry-Level Documentation Specialist to support a major biopharmaceutical manufacturing site. This is a great first role for graduates interested in GMP, Quality Assurance, biotech manufacturing, or technical documentation.
What You’ll Do

Write and update SOPs and controlled documents

Maintain GMP training records
-
Work in a Controlled Document Management System (CDMS)

Check documents for accuracy, compliance, formatting, and completeness
-
Assist authors with Microsoft Word formatting and workflows
-
Ensure proper review/approval routing
-
Support a fast-paced documentation team with strong organization and attention to detail

Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science or Engineering discipline

Strong writing and communication skills

Detail-oriented and comfortable learning regulated processes

Customer-service mindset

Ability to work on site in the Philadelphia suburbs
Preferred:
-
Exposure to GMP, lab environments, or documentation systems
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Word’s advanced features
