Project Manager - North Carolina
Location: Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Management Consultant with extensive experience in the Life Sciences industry to provide strategic project leadership and oversight across complex initiatives. This role entails driving project execution, ensuring accurate reporting, managing resources and financials, and effectively communicating with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership teams within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive, detail-oriented mindset and excel in cross-functional, global project settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and communicate overall project progress, including the preparation and presentation of monthly status updates to leadership.
- Develop comprehensive monthly reports encompassing key metrics, achievements, upcoming activities, milestones, risks, action items, stakeholder needs, and projected monthly expenditures.
- Define, monitor, and manage measurable project milestones to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity across all project reporting.
- Oversee project resource utilization and time reporting to ensure appropriate monthly allocation.
- Provide clear and consistent project status communications to sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and proactively escalate potential risks and issues to mitigate impacts before they arise.
- Align and coordinate project schedules across site teams, global partners, and third-party vendors.
- Review, manage, and approve project tasks and deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Administer project purchase orders, including invoice review and approval.
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial forecasts and accrual updates for the project.
- Plan and facilitate project meetings, including agenda development, meeting leadership, and documentation of minutes and action items.

Education:
