SCADA / ICS Engineer – AVEVA Citect

Long-Term Project (Up to 4 Years)

We are seeking an experienced SCADA / Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Engineer to support and enhance an enterprise SCADA environment using AVEVA Citect SCADA and AVEVA Citect Historian. This is a long-term opportunity supporting mission-critical facilities and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance AVEVA Citect SCADA and Citect Historian systems
• Troubleshoot and program SCADA and ICS hardware/software
• Modify and develop SCADA graphics, alarms, trends, and control logic
• Integrate SCADA systems with enterprise platforms using OPC, ODBC, and middleware tools
• Support real-time data trending, historian functions, and reporting
• Maintain SCADA systems during plant changes, renovations, and upgrades
• Perform patching, updates, testing, documentation, and training
• Support full lifecycle SCADA activities (design through sustainment)

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SCADA and Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
• Strong experience with AVEVA Citect SCADA (Historian preferred)
• Experience integrating SCADA with enterprise systems (OPC / ODBC)
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial networks, devices, and applications
• Experience working in regulated, secure, or critical infrastructure environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with building automation systems
• Familiarity with Maximo or similar enterprise asset systems
• Background supporting government, utilities, or large industrial facilities

Work Environment & Location

• Hybrid work setting combining remote work and on-site support
• Travel required to facilities as needed or required

• District of Columbia Facility (DCF) – Washington, DC
• Western Currency Facility (WCF) – Fort Worth, TX
• Must maintain seamless communication, collaboration, and service delivery regardless of work location
