Position Summary: As a Microsoft Azure Cloud Install & Integrations Consultant, you will be responsible for deploying and integrating Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for clients in regulated industries. You will guide clients through the setup, configuration, and seamless integration of Azure services with existing enterprise systems, ensuring reliable performance, security, and compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise in cloud installation and integration will support clients in achieving efficient and secure cloud infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure Cloud Setup and Configuration: Lead the setup, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Azure environments, tailoring solutions to meet client-specific requirements and regulatory guidelines.
  • System Integration: Design and implement integrations between Azure cloud services and other enterprise systems, including ERPs, CRMs, and third-party applications, to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that all installations and integrations adhere to relevant compliance standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and industry-specific regulations, conducting regular security assessments and audits.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration settings, integration workflows, and installation guides.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve issues with cloud installations and integrations, providing technical support to clients during the implementation phase and beyond.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Set up monitoring tools and dashboards to track the performance of Azure cloud environments, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or issues.
  • Client Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training sessions and create instructional resources to enable clients’ internal teams to manage and maintain their Azure environments post-implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with the latest Azure features and best practices, recommending improvements to clients’ setups and integration processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure cloud installations and system integrations, preferably in a consulting role within regulated industries.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, and other key components.
    • Experience with integration tools, APIs, and middleware for connecting Azure with other enterprise applications.
    • Strong knowledge of cloud security standards, data encryption, and compliance frameworks like HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
