Regional Manager
Valspec—a global provider of system validation and lifecycle services—provides commissioning and qualification of computerized systems for clients in the Life Sciences industry. REGIONAL LEAD / MANAGER - LIFE SCIENCES CONSULTING / SERVICES
POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Manager will lead operations and drive client growth within the assigned region. This role combines strategic leadership, business development, and client relationship management to ensure exceptional service delivery and revenue expansion. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with strong knowledge of life sciences compliance and validation practices, coupled with a proven ability to grow accounts and build long-term partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but not limited to):
Client Growth & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key regional clients, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling of services.
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance and uncover new opportunities.
Industry Engagement & Brand Presence
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations (e.g., ISPE, PDA, DIA) to build relationships and enhance brand visibility.
- Network with industry leaders to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee project delivery to ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards.
- Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and workload balancing across teams.
- Monitor KPIs to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and develop regional team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Provide training and guidance on compliance, validation methodologies, and client engagement best practices.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- 8+ years in life sciences consulting with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in business development, account growth, and client relationship management.
- Deep knowledge of the markets and potential clients in the RTP region.
- Strong knowledge of Life Sciences industry.
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Ability to communicate vision both internally and externally
- Communication excellence at all organizational levels
