The ideal Programmatic Media Specialist for Valtech is passionate about experience revolution, innovation, has strategic media planning experience while looking to continually learn, and enjoys sharing expertise. The individual will support the Media Director in translating client business objectives into innovative and effective strategic media plans. This will be an individual contributor role where you will be expected to work with a team of other marketing experts in multiple disciplines including paid and social media, client services, creative, data, and more. Strong verbal and written communication are a must. Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment, or in a consulting capacity is a plus.
Role responsibilities
Planning & Strategy
- Serve as client-facing programmatic media expert
- Develop strategic media plans across programmatic and direct partners
- Set-up and launch programmatic media campaigns including display, native, CTV, DOOH, video and audio
- Support in planning research including competitive analysis, audience insights, media behaviors and industry trends
- Participate in key client deliverables
Department Operations
- Own digital ad trafficking through Google Campaign Manager. Includes development of placement tags, assigning creative, communicating with internal and external teams for implementation
- Responsible for media invoicing for programmatic vendors including billing reconciliations and actualizations
- Lead programmatic training and development for junior team members
- Collaborate with other agency departments such as creative, strategy, data, and account management as needed
Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor campaign performance and make proactive recommendations
- Support in QA of platform and vendor data
- Collaborate with data and analytics prior, during and after campaign launch to ensure proper tracking is implemented
- Support in development of monthly, quarterly an annual performance insight
Minimum qualifications
- At least 2+ years of programmatic experience (agency or client)
- Experience trafficking ads through Google Campaign Manager
- Hands-on working experience with DSPs such as DV360, StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, and direct publisher media buys
- Baseline understanding of floodlight tags, tracking pixels, and measurement implementation

This is a Full-Time position in the United States. The salary range offered for this position is 60k-75k annually, depending on experience and location.
