Executive Summary
Vanna Health is seeking a Director of Quality Performance to serve as a leader responsible for the strategy, execution, and scalability of enterprise operations and quality programs. This role owns end-to-end COC metrics as it ties back to coaching quality, contracting SLAs and implementation strategy, HEDIS operations, workforce performance across nurses and peer coaches, enrollment and engagement metrics, company and market level unit economics, and the development of a centralized PMO and performance infrastructure across all sites. The leader will work closely with finance, clinical, technology, and site management to centralize the operating metrics for Vanna Health, providing visibility and driving accountability across the organization.
This executive translates organizational strategy into measurable operational outcomes, ensures consistency and accountability across programs, and builds the systems, governance, and operating cadence required to support sustainable growth.
Key Executive Responsibilities
Enterprise Operations & Quality Strategy
- Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for enterprise operations and quality initiatives for COC translation from coaching, including HEDIS performance and documentation
- Define and own the operating model for quality measurement, engagement workflows, and performance optimization
- Serve as the executive accountable for consistent, compliant, and scalable delivery across all sites
COC and HEDIS & Quality Governance
- Own enterprise-wide HEDIS strategy, execution, and performance outcomes
- Establish and govern coding policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
- Partner with compliance, analytics, and operational leaders to drive continuous quality improvement
Workforce & Program Leadership
- Provide executive oversight of nurses and peer coaches with clear role definition and accountability
- Define how teams integrate within workflows to support engagement and quality outcomes
- Build scalable leadership structures, staffing models, and performance frameworks
Enrollment, Engagement & Outreach Performance
- Own engagement performance metrics including outreach, intake, enrollment, conversion, and retention
- Set strategy for telephonic engagement models and outreach cadence
- Use data-driven insights to optimize operational efficiency and engagement
Program Management
- Build and lead a centralized PMO delivering weekly performance metrics across all sites
- Establish operating cadences, dashboards, and accountability models
- Ensure leadership visibility into operational and quality performance
Systems & Operational Transformation
- Lead revamp of systems and workflows to support scalability
- Develop enhanced tracking and reporting capabilities
- Partner with technology teams to implement sustainable infrastructure
Executive Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, quality, or program management
- Demonstrated executive ownership of HEDIS or quality performance programs
- Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong track record building PMOs, dashboards, and performance frameworks
- Experience in value-based care or complex care environments preferred
