Position Overview 

The Events Manager will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact external events designed to strengthen executive relationships, drive industry engagement, and enhance brand visibility. 

This role owns end-to-end event execution, including venue sourcing, contract negotiation, agenda development, speaker coordination, executive preparation, and on-site delivery. The Events Manager will work closely with senior leadership to curate meaningful experiences that support business objectives and position the organization effectively within the industry. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Event Strategy & Execution 

  • Source and secure hotel venues and formal dining locations for multiple external events annually 
  • Lead contract negotiations with venues and vendors to ensure favorable terms and cost efficiency 
  • Build detailed meeting agendas in partnership with executive leadership 
  • Source and coordinate guest speakers and industry participants 
  • Partner with audiovisual (AV) teams to ensure seamless event execution 
  • Oversee on-site event management, ensuring a high-quality and professional experience 
  • Travel as needed to attend events and evaluate prospective venues 

Executive & Stakeholder Coordination 

  • Manage calendar invitations and meeting logistics 
  • Prepare executive briefing materials and event documentation 
  • Curate tailored guest experiences aligned with strategic goals 
  • Assist leadership in securing members and confirming attendance 
  • Conduct pre-event coordination calls with hosts, speakers, and stakeholders 
  • Ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external partners 

 

Required Experience & Qualifications 

  • 5–7 years of experience planning and executing professional meetings and events 
  • Proven experience hosting and managing external-facing corporate events 
  • Strong contract negotiation experience with venues and vendors 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to travel as needed 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting C-level or executive leadership 
  • Experience managing high-touch, relationship-driven events 
  • Background in financial services, fintech, or professional services environments 

 

 

 

Compensation & Benefits 

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $120,000 – $135,000, plus eligibility for discretionary bonus compensation. This range represents a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs. 

In addition to base salary and bonus eligibility, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with employer match; Flexible Time Off; paid holidays; wellness benefits; and other company-sponsored programs. Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on employment status.
