QA Engineer (manual & Automation testing)

As a Quality Engineer, you are a key member in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and services. With practical experience in automation, you will assume a pivotal role in the formulation and execution of automation strategies, framework design, and test automation for our projects. Your core responsibilities encompass the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable automation frameworks, the execution of automated test cases to deliver the highest quality, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and address test automation requirements. Additionally, you will serve as a champion for quality advocacy, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Must Haves:

• Need to be strong with both manual & automation testing, and be enthusiastic doing it or enjoying making sure things are right, not just getting things to pass.
• The apps are web based, Java and React experience are required.
• Strongly prefer Selenium, but if they have experience with other auto testing tools, that could make due, but selenium would be their preference.
• Have a high standard in testing
• Need to be comfortable with scrum/agile

Nice to haves:

• API Testing in Postman

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and sustain resilient and scalable automation frameworks.
• Execute automated test cases to ensure the integrity of web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discern and fulfill test automation prerequisites and devise effective solutions.
• Ability to apply all testing methodologies such as exploratory, functional and non-functional testing.
• Employ tools such as JMeter and Postman to automate API testing.
• Remain current with the latest automation trends and best practices.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Automation Framework tools like Selenium.
• Collaborate with the various teams to identify and rectify defects and issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on all aspects of Quality
• Take accountability and ownership in Release Management processes to ensure product quality remains at the highest standards.
• Ability to work and collaborate with all stakeholders

What you'll need:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of five years' hands-on experience in creating automation frameworks and designing automation tests.
• Must Have: Proficiency in SeleniumWebdriver IO, Cyprus or Playwright.
• Must Have: Proficiency in JavaScript(preferred), or Java, Python, C#
• Must Have: Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Must Have: Quality First Mindset.
• Experience in testing React-based applications.
• Proven expertise in mobile testing across diverse platforms and devices.
• Practical familiarity with performance testing tools, including JMeter.
• Knowledge of MySQL
• Familiar with any cloud based solutions- Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP
• Familiar with Agile Framework.
• Strong problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively within a team.
• Excellent in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
