Job Description
Responsibilities:
As a Customer Success Group (CSG) Scaled Delivery Consultant (ServiceNow SME), you will be responsible for collaborating with customers using our official ServiceNow applications in the successful installation, configuration, customization, enhancement, and support of their deployments.
Partner across CSG teams (Support, Success, Engineering, Professional Services, Education) as the CSG Subject Matter Expert related to ServiceNow applications. Support customer account teams as the ServiceNow SME in customer meetings, business reviews, and strategy, deployment, and upgrade planning.
Partner across Product & Development teams as the CSG Subject Matter Expert related to ServiceNow applications, bringing direct feedback for new features, capabilities, and bugs for improvement in future product releases.
Develop a deep understanding of products, solutions, integrations, processes, and workflows used in typical customer engagements.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience working in a ServiceNow Admin, Developer, or Architect role as a ServiceNow customer or with a ServiceNow implementation and deployment partner.
- Experienced working with the following ServiceNow components and modules:
- ServiceNow Incident Management (IM), Major Incident Management (MIM)
- ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM)
- ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM)
- ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Proficient in ServiceNow development, customization, and scripting within scoped applications using common ServiceNow components:
- Scripting in ServiceNow, a solid understanding of JavaScript
- Scripted REST APIs, ServiceNow APIs
- Import Tables, Custom Tables, Standard Module Tables, Extending Tables
- Business Rules
- Event Queues
- Script Actions
- Script Includes
- Legacy and current UI technologies, NOW experience, portal applications, and widgets
- Proficient in ServiceNow application development best practices, debugging, and testing.
- Proficient in the ServiceNow application upgrade lifecycle and resolving typical ServiceNow application upgrade problems.
- Comfortable working directly with customers, ServiceNow administrators, developers, and architects.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills: consistent track record in structuring sophisticated problems and developing solutions.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work independently in a customer request-driven environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills in professional business environments.
