We’re partnering with a cutting-edge U.S.-based tech company that develops collaborative robotics and AI-powered automation tools for the industrial sector. They're on a mission to revolutionize how humans and machines interact in real-world environments, and we're helping them connect with top engineering talent across LATAM.
We’re looking for a Robotics Engineer with a strong background in software/hardware integration and embedded systems, and ideally, experience in Rust or Node.js to support the development and deployment of advanced robotics platforms.
🔍 What you’ll do:
-
Design and implement systems that bridge the gap between software and physical hardware (motors, sensors, controllers).
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and optimize robotic behaviors and control algorithms.
-
Develop and maintain embedded firmware for robotic components.
-
Contribute to cloud-to-edge software architecture and integration.
-
Participate in the implementation of real-time communication protocols for hardware devices.
-
Support internal QA/testing teams to validate system behavior and ensure robust performance.
✅ What we’re looking for:
-
4+ years of experience in robotics, embedded systems, or mechatronics engineering.
-
Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Nodejs and familiarity with Rust or Node.js (or willingness to learn).
-
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and robotics frameworks.
-
Solid understanding of real-time systems, IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CAN, Modbus), and control systems.
-
Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote, international team environment.
-
Software/Hardware Integration - SW/HW Integration
-
Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).
🌎 Location:
-
Open to candidates across LATAM.
-
Remote-first team, with occasional opportunities to visit client sites in the U.S. (California).
💡 Bonus Points:
-
Experience with collaborative robots (cobots), robotic arms, or motion planning.
-
Background in industrial automation or smart manufacturing.
-
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Oracle Cloud, AWS) or container-based deployments.
