The Deal Desk Renewals Specialist plays a key role in supporting the deal approval process, ensuring accurate and efficient management of renewals, pricing, and contract terms. This position collaborates closely with sales, customer success and legal teams to facilitate renewal deals, optimize pricing structures, and ensure compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate has experience in CPQ tools and a strong understanding of renewal processes, helping to drive efficiency and consistency in deal execution.
What You'll Do:
Renewal Deal Support & Pricing Review:
- Assist in structuring and reviewing renewal deals to ensure alignment with company policies and revenue goals.
- Work closely with the sales and customer success team to provide guidance on pricing, discounting, and contract terms for renewals.
- Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and operational policies when processing renewal quotes.
- Leverage CPQ tools to create, update, and validate renewal quotes and pricing structures.
Process & System Management:
- Support the end-to-end renewal process, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accuracy in CPQ and CRM systems, ensuring all renewal data is up to date.
- Assist in standardizing renewal workflows to streamline approvals and reduce cycle times.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with sales and customer success teams to ensure smooth and timely renewal negotiations.
- Partner with finance and legal to address any deal-related concerns, including revenue recognition and contract compliance.
- Support deal escalation processes by gathering necessary approvals and documentation.
What You'll Bring:
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, revenue operations, or a related role.
- Experience with CPQ tools (e.g., DealHub, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ) and renewal processes.
- Familiarity with SaaS or subscription-based pricing models is a plus.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, CPQ tools, and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret deal structures and pricing models.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the deal desk function.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
