The AI GTM Strategist, Business Development will be responsible for shaping and executing the Associate Seller productivity and automation roadmap, defining how AI is leveraged to scale pipeline creation across prospecting efforts and over time across customer segments.
Sitting within the Marketing organization, this role focuses on translating emerging AI capabilities into real GTM use cases such as designing repeatable workflows, modernizing prospecting and engagement strategies and introducing automation across the lead-to-opportunity lifecycle. The goal is to increase pipeline output per Associate Seller and improve execution quality while reducing reliance on linear headcount growth to achieve revenue targets.
This role serves as the owner of the AI enabled AS execution, accountable for measurable improvements in pipeline capacity, velocity and efficiency. It’s a foundational investment in how the company scales pipeline creation across both prospect and customer segments over time
While execution begins within the Associate Seller team, the role partners closely with RevOps, Sales, Marketing and Enablement to embed AI-driven tools, insights and workflows into broader GTM processes, improving how teams target accounts, engage, execute and drive performance to improve efficiency, consistency and pipeline creation.
What You'll Do:
- AI AS Strategy and Scale Impact
- Drive the AI productivity and automation roadmap for the AS organization.
- Define where AI drives the greatest impact across pipeline creation and execution.
- Partner with GTM leadership to align AI initiatives to pipeline targets.
- Drive measurable improvements in pipeline efficiency and scale economies.
- AI Workflow Design & Execution
- Design, document and maintain AI workflows that support core AS team motions including but not limited to
- Account and contact research
- Personalization at scale
- Outreach preparation and follow-ups
- Call preparation
- Build prompt libraries, templates and automation flows that improve speed and quality of execution.
- Pilot new AI tools and features; validate value before broader rollout.
- Continuously test, refine, and optimize workflows based on performance and Associate Seller feedback.
- Ensure workflows are easy to adopt, repeatable and compliant with company policies.
- Work closely with Marketing, Enablement, Ops and IT to integrate AI tools cleanly into existing systems.
- Associate Seller AI and Enablement and Adoption
- Manage and execute the design, delivery and supporting enablement materials of the Associate Seller AI Playbook, covering but not limited to prospecting, research, personalization, outreach, call preparation and follow-up.
- Train Associate Sellers on applying AI workflows and tools in their day-to-day prospecting and outreach.
- Develop and maintain practical enablement assets aligned to the playbook, including prompts, templates, playbooks and SOPs.
- Run live demos, workshops and office hours focused on applying real Associate Seller use cases.
- Embed AI workflows into onboarding and daily execution.
- Act as the first line of support for Associate Sellers using AI tools and playbook workflows.
- Associate Seller Productivity & Pipeline Impact
- Identify manual, repetitive, or low-value AS tasks that can be improved or automated with AI.
- Measure and track metrics/productivity gains (e.g., time saved per rep, outreach volume, response rates).
- Partner with RevOps to connect AI usage to pipeline performance over time.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with RevOps, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to integrate AI tools into the existing tech stack.
- Support clean workflow design within SFDC, Salesloft and other systems.
- Share learnings and best practices across the GTM teams.
- AI Tool Research & Optimization
- Test emerging AI tools and features relevant to outbound sales.
- Recommend tools and workflows that deliver measurable impact.
- Sunset approaches that don’t drive performance improvements.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for AI usage within the AS team.
What You'll Bring:
- 3-4 years in Sales Development, Sales Enablement, Revenue Ops or a BDR role.
- Deep understanding of traditional BDR and outbound sales technology stacks and workflows
- Direct experience applying AI tools in sales or go-to-market workflows
- Demonstrated ability to evolve traditional BDR workflows into AI-enabled workflows that improve speed, scale and execution quality
- Experience linking GTM processes improvements or automation efforts into measurable pipeline or productivity outcomes
- AI & Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience using AI for prospecting, research, personalization and workflow automation
- Solid understanding of sales tech stacks, CRM systems and outbound tools
- Ability to connect multiple tools into practical repeatable workflows
- Comfort experimenting with new AI capabilities and translating them into daily GTM use cases
- Ability to use performance data and GTM metrics to evaluate workflow effectiveness and guide continuous improvement

The expected base salary range for this role is $76,800.00 - $98,000 CAD and individuals may be eligible to participate in our variable compensation program.
