We’re seeking a skilled, motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our clinical team. Whether your background is in general practice, emergency or you’ve already worked in ophthalmology or surgery, this is a unique opportunity to take your skills to the next level in a state-of-the-art clinic designed for learning, teamwork, and excellence.

In this role, you’ll work as a Veterinary Nurse supporting a broad range of complex and unique ophthalmological surgical procedures and consultations. You’ll be trained and supported to grow your technical confidence in a fast-paced, well-resourced specialty environment.

You'll be part of a tight-knit crew responsible for managing a dynamic caseload. We are dedicated to building a team and culture that continues to function with trust, efficiency, and heart.

What You’ll Do:

As a member of the ophthalmology team, in addition to traditional Vet Tech duties, you will be actively involved in:

• Client education
• Ophthalmic disease testing
• Performing pre-surgical diagnostics
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Post operative patient care
• Rounding with the doctor on cases using learned ophthalmology knowledge
• Leading appointments

What We Require:

• Veterinary Technician licensure in New York State
• Strong record-keeping skills
• Experience with PIMS/practice management software, (ezyVet is our in-house platform)

What Would Be Ideal:

• 2+ years of experience as a licensed veterinary technician
• Anesthesia experience
• Ophthalmology experience
• A desire to pursue VTS in ophthalmology

● The salary range for this role is: $33-$37 per hour. Additional incentives available for candidates with a VTS in Ophthalmology
