Soldering Technician
The Soldering Technician supports the production of high-quality electronic products by assembling, soldering, inspecting, and repairing circuit boards and electronic products in compliance with company and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with soldering electronic components on circuit boards, including through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform hand soldering of electronic components on PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), including through-hole and SMT.
- Use tools such as soldering irons, heat guns, microscopes, and tweezers for detailed assembly work.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Inspect and verify solder joints for quality, adhering to IPC-A-610 standards or equivalent.
- Identify and repair defective solder joints and components.
- Operate equipment used in PCB assembly such as reflow ovens, pick-and-place machines, and wave soldering systems (if applicable).
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all safety procedures and comply with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices.
- Complete production documentation and logs as required.
- Assist in training new technicians or assemblers as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- High school degree or GED
- Familiarity with IPC standards, especially IPC-A-610.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work with small components under a microscope for extended periods.
- IPC certification (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) is preferred.
- Experience with both leaded and lead-free soldering is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electronics and component identification is preferred.
- Willing to travel to Europe for training.
